Athena McKenzie

Athena McKenzie is the Content Manager at Canadian Train Vacations. An experienced travel writer and content editor, her work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Zoomer Magazine, Elle Canada and YAM Magazine. Based in Western Canada since 2013, she loves exploring the area and writing about her adventures. One of her top experiences is a Rocky Mountaineer journey between Jasper and Vancouver in the fall, taking in all the vibrant colours — the yellow larch, the red maples and the blue lakes — from the train and the park's hiking trails.
